Immediately, the center’s monitoring teams went to the site in full coordination with the relevant authorities. It turned out that the incident occurred within the scope of a site for the construction of a building, and the excavation work resulted in a partial collapse of the soil, the impact of which extended to the parallel street. As a result, a number of infrastructure assets were affected and one of the water pipes broke, which led to the accumulation of large quantities of water at the site.

Containing the effects of the accident

The center confirmed that the services provided to the final beneficiaries are stable and without any interruption, and the concerned service authorities directly activated their approved emergency plans, which contributed to containing the effects of the accident and ensuring the continuity of the flow of services. The site was also secured and the affected assets were immediately isolated.
