"Muslim sages" An international meeting in Kazakhstan is organized on "Spiritual diplomacy"

Alami, on June 27 / WAM / The Council of Muslim Wise Men in the Central Asian branch, in cooperation with the International Center for Interfaith Dialogue and Civilizations and the Egyptian University of Islamic Culture “Nour Mubarak”, organized a round international table under the title “Spiritual Diplomacy and Preserving the Bible of Religions” over the course of June 25 and 26, in the city of Alami in Kazakhstan.

The gathering witnessed a distinguished presence of a group of senior scholars, religious figures, experts and intellectuals, with the aim of exploring the vital role of ancient manuscripts and cultural religious heritage in our modern era.

The discussions focused on developing effective strategies to restore these rare manuscripts, and to enhance spiritual diplomacy as a bridge of understanding between religions; Where one of the most prominent axes of this dialogue was an ambitious initiative to restore a rare manuscript from the Noble Qur’an dating back to the twelfth century.

Participated in the round international table, Dr. Darkhan Keredali, General Coordinator of the Office of the Council of Muslim Elderly in the Central Asian region, Bayerjan Bakirov, Vice President of the International Center for Dialogue between Religions and Civilizations, Dr. Ahmed Hussein, President of Nour Mubarak University in Kazakhstan, and a number of officials.

The activities of the first day included presentations under the title “Spiritual Diplomacy and the role of religions in building mutual trust”, which was moderated by Dr. Yakhtia Baltra, Director of the Department of Science and Innovation at Nour Mubarak University.

The restoration experts held specialized workshops and seminars, while one of the researchers from Al -Azhar University presented a valuable guiding tour of the Islamic Manuscripts Group, which included a special offer for the rare Qur’an of the twelfth century.

The activities of the second day discussed the mechanisms of rare Islamic manuscripts maintenance and the latest academic methods in the study of Islamic heritage; Where the international round table culminated in the adoption of a joint declaration confirming the commitment of the entrenched participating institutions to protect the sacred heritage and the promotion of spiritual diplomacy as a pillar of understanding and coexistence between cultures and religions.

These activities come within the framework of the efforts of the Council of Muslim Elders aimed at promoting spiritual diplomacy in consolidating dialogue, tolerance and coexistence between followers of different religions and cultures in a way that contributes to spreading the values ​​of peace, understanding and stability.
