A delegation from the Arab Parliament visits the UAE floating hospital in Al -Arish
Al -Arish, on June 29 / WAM / A high -level delegation from the Arab Parliament headed by His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Al -Yamahi, President of Parliament, visited the floating Emirati hospital in Al -Arish, where he made a comprehensive tour in the various hospital departments and reviewed the medical and humanitarian services that he provides to patients.
During the visit, the members of the delegation met with a number of Palestinian patients receiving treatment in the hospital and listened to their experiments about the level of health care and humanitarian support they receive from Emirati medical staff.
The delegation also briefed on the progress of the work of the “Al -Faris 3” operation in Al -Arish, which comes within the efforts of the UAE to relief the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, where the delegation got acquainted with the mechanism of managing the operation and the types of aid provided that include food and health parcels, children’s and women’s parcels, clothes for children, and other various relief assistance .. The members of the delegation participated in filling a number of these parcels.
Al -Yamahi praised the great efforts made by the UAE in supporting the Palestinian brothers and alleviating their suffering … stressing that these humanitarian initiatives reflect the authentic Arab values and joint Arab solidarity.
The UAE floating hospital is one of the most prominent humanitarian initiatives for the UAE within the process of “Al -Faris Al -Shahh 3” .. It was launched on February 23, 2024 to provide integrated health services to the injured Gaza Strip, and includes specialized medical cadres and advanced capabilities to provide urgent health care and psychological and social support to the injured.
It is noteworthy that the process of “Al -Faris Al -Shahh 3” was launched on November 5, 2023 under the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to support the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, where the UAE has so far provided more than 70,000 tons of relief, medical and food aid, as part of its keenness to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Palestinian people.
