With an Emirati-Kuwaiti cooperation … thwarting smuggling a large amount of Shabu and Heroin’s materials

With a joint security cooperation between the Emirati drug control devices and its Kuwaiti counterpart, the smuggling of a large amount of Shabu and heroin was thwarted, which was seized during an attempt to smuggle it to Kuwait by sea, which included about 100 kilograms of Shabu and 10 kilograms of heroin with a value of up to one million and 150 thousand Kuwaiti dinars.
The UAE Ministry of Interior affirmed through its account on the “X” platform, “We proudly, we confirm that this cooperation between the UAE Ministry of Interior and its Kuwaiti counterpart embodies the unified vision in addressing the scourge of drugs, and enhances mutual trust between the brothers in protecting our societies.”
“We appreciate the praise of Sheikh Fahd Youssef Al -Sabah, and we renew our commitment to strengthening the channels of exchanging information and joint coordination to protect our homelands from every threat,” she added.
The details of the seizure are due to security information reached through joint cooperation, stating that a marine container contains narcotic substances, within the activity of an organized international network, where a tight security plan was prepared to track the container and seize the accused.
In coordination with the General Administration of Customs, in Kuwait, the container was allowed to exit from the port of Shuwaikh and follow it in the field until its future was seized in flagrante delicto in the Amghara region, a person of Afghan nationality, and the General Fire force also participated in opening the container and dealing with it, ensuring the maintenance of the safety of security measures and protecting those in charge of the operation.
The process came within the framework of joint security cooperation between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior and its Emirati counterpart, which included (100) kilograms of Shabu, and (10) kilograms of heroin with an estimated value of (1,150,000) Kuwaiti dinars.
The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Youssef Saud Al -Sabah, expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the team, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior in the United Arab Emirates, for fruitful cooperation and intelligence information that contributed to the success of this process, stressing the depth of brotherly relations that bring together the two brotherly countries, and the importance of continuing security coordination and exchanging information in combating organized crime.
