Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he would have a phone conversation with his American counterpart Donald Trump this evening

“I will talk today with the American president,” Putin said during his visit to the rising Russian brand competition exhibition.

For his part, the US President wrote in his account on the “X” platform: “I will talk to Russian President Putin at ten o’clock … Thank you!”

The Russian and American presidents had a phone conversation in mid -June, and the assistant assistant to Russian President Yuri Oshkov confirmed after the call that Putin and Trump had a 50 -minute phone conversation and discussed among other things the situation in the Middle East.

Oshkov indicated that President Trump, during his contact with President Putin, expressed his interest in ending the Ukrainian crisis.
