The Ministry of Health and Population announced the cultivation of 12 pulmonary valves, through therapeutic interventional catheters, within the National Heart Institute of the Hospital and Educational Institutes Authority, within 6 months, without the patients to download any material costs, while the cost of one operation is one million pounds, in order to provide the latest methods of treatment for the Egyptian patient. And the residents, the changing the pulmonary valve through the catheter is a modern technique, and the expansion of its use is being expanded in the future, to be a safe and effective alternative to many open heart surgeries, within the services of health insurance and treatment at the expense of the state. The pulmonary, for patients with a congenital heart defects in the heart, underwent open heart surgeries in previous periods, as an alternative to open surgery, indicating that since the beginning of 2025 until now 12 pulmonary valves have been successfully implanted, and patients left the hospital within 48 hours of the catheter. & nbsp; For his part, Dr. Mohamed Abdel -Hadi, Director of the National Heart Institute, explained that this medical achievement reflects the capabilities and skills of medical cadres in the institute and is a qualitative leap in the field of interfering heart medicine, and places the National Heart Institute, in the ranks of the leading centers regionally, in this specialization.
