Urgent … Egypt and Russia expect a complementary contract to create and operate the Dabaa nuclear power plant

The Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, and the Director General of the Russian Atomic Energy Energy Corporation & quot, signed Rosatom & quot; Alexei Lekhhatov, the complementary protocol of the agreement concluded between Egypt and Russia on cooperation in building and operating nuclear energy stations in Egypt.
The Ministry of Electricity – in a statement today – said that this comes within the framework of cooperation between the two countries in the field of nuclear energy and in light of the partnership and the work program and the time plan for the nuclear plant project in Dabaa and our commitment to the stages of implementing the national electricity generation project from energy Nuclear.
