"James Education " It opens the door for candidacy for the World Teacher Award for 2026

Dubai, July 9/ WAM/ The James Education Group announced the opening of candidacy for distinguished teachers in the UAE, to participate in the World Teacher Award for 2026, organized by the Farki Foundation in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and has a value of one million US dollars, and is the largest in the world in honoring teachers, as it has been attracted since its inception in 2015 more than 100 thousand nominations from different countries of the world.
The 2025 edition witnessed the victory of the Saudi teacher, Mansour bin Abdullah Al -Mansour, in exchange for his contributions to enabling hundreds of orphans and teaching prisoners to read and write and receive them during the World Government Summit in Dubai and confirmed that teachers are devoting their efforts daily to enabling students through passion and innovation, calling on inspiring teachers in the emirate to run for the award and obtain the global appreciation they deserve.
For his part, the award, the founder of the award, said that education is a pillar in facing major challenges such as climate change, inequality and technological transformations, and urged Emirates teachers to progress and participate in shaping a more just and sustainable future.
Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director General for Education at UNESCO, stressed the importance of the role of teachers in developing societies, noting that their numbers have declined around the world and the need to invest in them to face future challenges, and the Emirati teacher Mouna Moza Al -Hafiti has previously qualified for the list of the best fifty teachers in 2025, while Riyad Zamali reached the same list in 2021.
The award receives the requests of practicing teachers full or part -time from all levels of study, provided that they are committed to teaching for at least ten hours a week and intend to continue their profession for the next five years.
