The village of Bouheeb is one of the most prominent sporting landmarks in the UAE and the region, where it is organized annually a series of various championships in power sport, and witnesses a wide participation of state knights and knights, along with a group of international participants, and among the most prominent of these championships is the Cup of His Highness the President of the State for ability, the festival of the late Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Federation Cup, the seventh regional group race, and private stable championships.
The village recorded exceptional successes in organizing and hosting many major international events, which received great praise from the officials of the International Equestrian Federation, and the participating delegations, most notably the World Cup for capacity in February 2023, and the seventh regional group championship in January 2025, as two prominent stations in the record of the international achievements of the village.
During the 2024-2025 season, the village of Bouheeb achieved a qualitative global number, with the participation of 5 thousand and 257 knights and knights in 31 competitions, hosted by its advanced fields, in a clear indication of the volume of demand and international trust in it, and its vital role in establishing power sport as one of the sports and cultural pillars in the UAE, and to emphasize the role of heritage sports in promoting national identity and translating the vision of the rational leadership in preserving The legacy of parents and grandparents.
The village is witnessing continuous development and modernization works at the level of infrastructure and installations, which keeps pace with the boom in racing fields, and enhances its position among the most prominent sporting facilities in the world to host international and regional events.
It is also committed to applying the principles of global environmental sustainability, which makes it a model in the balance between developing sports and preserving the environment through the use of modern technologies to reduce emissions, rationalize resource consumption, and raise awareness of the importance of sustainability among all participants.
The Bouheeb Equestrian Academy is a pivotal part of the integrated system adopted by the village, as it focuses on the rehabilitation of emerging generations, and the provision of an integrated educational and training environment for different Sunni groups, which contributes to building a solid base of national competencies in equestrian sports, especially the jumping barriers.
The Academy aims to implement specialized training programs, and to provide educational, physical and psychological care for the knights, as well as organizing summer events and rehabilitation championships.
Ahmed Al -Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, stressed that the sustainable growth in the village of Bouheeb and the Equestrian Academy is a clear result of studied plans adopted by the Board of Directors headed by His Excellency Faisal Al -Bannai, in light of the strategic vision aimed at global leadership.
Al -Suwaidi explained that the academy represents the cornerstone of building a new generation of knights in the sport of jumping barriers, which contributes to strengthening the UAE position in international forums, and enhances its position among the leading countries in equestrian sports.
Muhammad Hatem Al -Junaibi, Director of Events in the village and Bouheeb Equestrian Academy, pointed out that the village presented a distinguished national model, thanks to its advanced facilities and the ideal organizational environment that contributed to hosting major international and regional events, as well as local activities witnessing a wide turnout of knights and knights.
Al -Junaibi emphasized that the great organizational success achieved by the village stems from the integrated work that focuses on enabling the knights in various categories to acquire skills and continuous development, within a professional system that contributes to upgrading the general sports level.
In the same context, Ahmed Al -Junaibi, Head of the Training and Development Department at the Academy, noted that the advanced programs held throughout the year, contributed greatly to the development of knights skills, and giving them opportunities to participate in championships and courses, which helped the sport of jumping barriers in the country achieved advanced ranks globally.
Al -Junaibi considered that the high number of affiliates to the academy, and active participation in the summer championships reflects the growing passion and societal awareness of equestrian sporting, and confirms the success of the approach adopted by the village and the Bouteeeb Academy in supporting and developing this ancient heritage sport.
