Dubai Chess Club celebrates International Chess Day

Dubai Chess and Culture Club celebrated the International Chess Day, which falls on July 20 of each year, and the celebration activities included the establishment of various activities for all ages, as the kidnapped chess championship for young people was organized under 14 years and the public category. The Indian Muhammad Seifan came fourth and the Iranian Asina Golizadeh ranked fifth.
For his part, the organizer and international referee Saeed Youssef Shukri, Secretary -General of the Dubai Chess and Culture Club, congratulated the chess community around the world on this day, as the club’s keenness to participate annually in this distinguished event, which witnesses a wide participation of chess players from different age groups, stressing the great role of the game in developing educational, mental and psychological aspects.
He also praised the efficiency of the work team from the young national cadres who managed the competitions with competence and competence, and they are the international referee Majid Al -Abdouli, the international referee Salman Al -Taher and local rulers Hamad Al -Shizawi, Sultan Muhammad Farid, Hamid Ahmed, Ali Abdulaziz and Nour Al -Bastaki. He also thanked all the participating players and their parents for their contribution to the success of the event.
