The Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces met Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al -Gharibi in Islamabad, Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, as part of his official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the meeting, the strategic partnerships between the navy in the two brotherly countries were reviewed, and their role in supporting regional maritime security, as well as discussing a number of issues of common concern.

Joint coordination

He held a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Naval Forces, Lieutenant General Nafid Ashraf, in the presence of the two official delegations, during which they discussed ways to develop cooperation between the Saudi and Pakistani navies in the fields of training and maritime security, and discussed promoting joint coordination towards the challenges facing the marine environment in the region.

Military education

The meeting reviewed the opportunities for academic cooperation and exchanging experiences in advanced military education, in addition to discussing joint training programs aimed at raising the efficiency and capabilities of the navy employees in the two countries.
The Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al -Ghribi, concluded his visit by meeting the head of the Pakistani Staff, Lieutenant General Saher Shamshad Mirza, where the two sides stressed the importance of integrating defense efforts to confront regional challenges, and the need to continue joint action in a way that enhances security and stability in the region, and supports military relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
