The adoption of 15 new health facilities for comprehensive health insurance

The General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision, headed by Dr. Ahmed Taha, announced the latest decisions of the Supreme Committee for Accreditation, which resulted in the granting of 11 health or initial accreditation facilities or accreditation renewal, in accordance with the national quality standards issued by the authority and internationally accredited by the & LDQUO; ISCWA & rdquo;.
The committee agreed to grant full accreditation for a period of 3 years for four health facilities, after they fulfilled the approval requirements issued by & quot; Ahmed Samir and pharmacy d. Rania Abu Bakr.
The committee also decided to grant the initial accreditation to four units and family medicine centers, namely:
& bull; Al -Mahdia Family Medicine Unit & ndash; Eastern & Bull; Qahbna Family Medicine Center & ndash; Eastern & Bull; Cypress Inspection Family Medicine Center & ndash; Damietta & bull; Sheikh Dergham family medicine unit & ndash; Damietta.
This accreditation comes as a culmination of the commitment of these facilities to the criteria for providing safe health services, based on the effectiveness of performance and the continuity of improvement, within the primary care system.
The committee also issued decisions to renew the accreditation for:
& bull; Ramd Port Said Hospital & ndash; Port Said & bull; Laboratory Laboratory 2 & ndash; Ismailia & bull; Renewal of the initial accreditation of the Nasr City Oncology Center Hospital & ndash; Cairo.
The head of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision affirmed that achieving institutional excellence in health services requires a supportive environment that is based & nbsp; To provide a system of systematic and sustainable technical support, and an actual commitment to applying best health practices, in addition to strategic investment in developing human cadres and qualifying them to improve performance quality
He added, that & quot; Gahar & quot; It believes in the necessity of activating the partnership with the various service providers in the government and private sectors, noting that spreading a culture of quality is one of the most important axes of developing the health system, and a major tributary to achieve citizens’ satisfaction with the service.
Dr. Ahmed Taha explained that the authority has implemented more than 1,800 technical support visits so far, which included field visits and technical support from distance, with the aim of enabling the facilities to understand and apply the criteria & quot; Gahar & quot; Effectively, which contributes to accelerating the pace of the transition to the comprehensive health insurance model adopted by the state.
The head of the General Authority for Accreditation and Health Supervision congratulated the quality teams in the facilities that obtained accreditation, praising their persistence, perseverance and full commitment to quality standards, and stressing that this achievement represents a starting point towards a sustainable development that meets the aspirations of the Egyptian state in providing safe, human and high -quality health services.
