Geneva, July 30/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al -Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defense, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council, met His Excellency Raul Latory, Chairman of the Parliament in the Paraguay Republic, on the sidelines of participation in the work of the Sixth World Conference of Parliamentary Presidents in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.
During the meeting, which was attended by His Excellency: Dr. Marwan Obaid Al -Muhairi, Member of the Federal National Council, and Afra Rashid Al -Basti, Assistant Secretary -General for Parliamentary Communication, confirmed the depth of friendship relations that bring the UAE and the Republic of Paraguay.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening joint parliamentary work in order to achieve sustainable development among the two friendly countries, considering that parliamentary diplomacy is today one of the most important tools that work to extend and consolidate the bridges of cooperation between the countries and peoples of the world in all vital and developmental fields, and the need to work to activate the role of parliamentary friendship committees between the Federal National Council and the House of Representatives in Prague, to exchange information and parliamentary experiences, and coordination in coordination in Parliament Issues of mutual interest at the national and international levels, and in a way that contributes to unifying opinions and attitudes towards the topics on the agenda of parliamentary posts in various international forums.
