"UN international trafficking programs" He praises the UAE’s efforts to combat organized crime

The regional coordinator, Dr. Muhannad Fayez Al -Duwaitat, said that cooperation with the Emirati authorities resulted in the development of a diploma in the fight against human trafficking, from which more than 750 participants in the Arab world graduated, as well as training national and regional cadres on best practices in investigation and care, praising the creation of specialized shelter in all emirates of the country.

This came during a symposium organized by the General Command of Dubai Police on the occasion of the International Day to Combat Human Trafficking, in cooperation with the Committee for the Anti -Human Trafficking in the Ministry of Interior, under the slogan: “Together against human trafficking, strict legislation, smart technologies, and a safe work environment from exploitation”, in the presence of officials from Dubai Police and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

The speakers reviewed the state’s efforts in combating crime before the “Palermo” agreement, and the role of artificial intelligence in analyzing the patterns of crime and identifying potential victims, as well as reviewing the efforts of the Ministry of Human Resources to control the recruitment of auxiliary workers and reduce their exploitation.
