UAE initiatives to support the Palestinian people are an honorable model for Arab solidarity and humanitarian action

The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al -Yamahi, praised the pioneering humanitarian role played by the United Arab Emirates in supporting the Palestinian people, and alleviating their suffering in light of the harsh humanitarian conditions taking place in the Gaza Strip.

He stressed that the Emirati initiatives, led by “Al -Faris 3”, represents a honorable model for Arab solidarity and active humanitarian work, as forms of support vary to include sending ships and truck caravans loaded with food and medical aid and shelters, in addition to carrying out air landing operations dedicated to reaching areas that are difficult to reach by land, in cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries.

He pointed out that these efforts were embodied in the arrival of the Emirati ship “Khalifa Humanitarian” – which is the eighth ship of aid in the initiative – to the port of Al -Arish, loaded with more than 7166 tons of humanitarian aid, which included food, medical and health items and shelters, as well as equipment equipped and water tanks to support urgent needs in the Gaza Strip.

He added that the UAE, since the launch of the “Al -Faris 3” initiative, has provided more than 80,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, was transferred by land, sea and air, through more than 600 flights and 17 shipping ships, and more than 5400 trucks, in addition to supporting the medical sector through the establishment of the field hospital in Gaza, and the floating hospital off the coast of Al -Arish, which reflects the UAE’s fixed commitment to humanitarian principles, and humanitarian principles, And its firm approach to standing alongside the sister peoples in times of crisis and emergency conditions.

The President of the Arab Parliament appreciated the continuous coordination between the UAE and the Arab Republic of Egypt to ensure that aid has reached its beneficiaries, stressing that these authentic positions embody an honest Arab solidarity with the Palestinian issue, and expresses firm positions to lead the UAE in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
