Al -Ahly youth, “Zaim,” team games with “105” titles for local and external championships

Al -Ahly Youth Club shall top the list of clubs that are the most brought up in the team games in the history of the Emirates sport at the level of men’s teams, with a total of 105 tournaments in basketball, handball and volleyball games, beating the Sharjah and Al -Wasl clubs, who share second place, with each of them have 76 titles.

The three clubs confirmed the size of the great work that their departments have given at the level of group games, after they succeeded in winning 257 championships, representing about 60% of the total competitions held in the history of Emirates sport within these games, which numbered 439 competitions.

It is noteworthy that the march of these games started with volleyball in the 1974-1975 season, and the first title of Sharjah Club, followed by handball in the 1976-1977 season, where the league and cup competitions started, and its first title was crowned Sharjah and Al-Wasl.

In the 1977-1978 season, the basketball federation competitions were launched, and the coronation of Al-Wasl witnessed the title of the first league, while Sharjah crowned the President of the State Cup, to repeat the first imprint of both clubs.
