Serdar, Muqbali and Suza are the best professional league stars

The Professional Football Association, during the ceremony held yesterday at the Emirates Palace Hotel “Mandaren Oriental” in Abu Dhabi, honored the winners of the last football season 2024-2025, which included several categories: the Golden Ball Award for the best player, the golden boy for the best under-23 player, the golden glove for the best goalkeeper, the captain award for the best coach, the best player from choosing the fans, and the best goal, alongside The Excellence Award for Professionalism and Licensing, and the League of the Family Award. This honor came in appreciation of the prominent role of the players and coaches with their teams last season.
The Golden Ball Award for the best player in the season, Al -Ahly player Sardar Azmoun, won the Mahdi Qaidi Kalba and Kayo Lucas, the Sharjah player, after playing an influential role in leading his team to achieve great successes, most notably the coronation of the league shield. His teammate Guilhrami Da Silva (Pala) won the Golden Boy Award for Best U -23 Player, beating Brahima Diar from Al -Wahda, and Siaka Sidii from Al Wasl.
The Golden Glove Award for the best goalkeeper went to the rising youth goalkeeper Hamad Al -Maqbali, after a strong competition with Ali Khasif from Al -Jazeera, and Adel Al -Hosani from Sharjah. While Portuguese Paulo Souza, Al -Ahly’s youth coach, won the leader of the leader of the best coach, after he led his team to achieve four titles, most notably the league, beating the Serbian Milos Meloyevic, the former coach of Al -Wasl, and Romanian Oario Cosmin, the former Sharjah coach.
As for the award for the best player from the choice of the public, it was awarded to Mohamed Al -Nani, the player of Al -Jazeera, beating Lucas Pimanta from Al -Wahda, and Fabio Lima from Al -Wasl, while the award of the most beautiful goal in the season went to Nabil Faqir, the player of Al -Jazeera, surpassing Sufyan Rahimi from Al Ain, and Omar Khirbin from Al -Wahda.
In the club category, Al -Jazira Club won the Prize for Excellence in Professionalism and Licensing, beating unity and Al Ain, while the Air League award was awarded to Al Ain Club, ahead of Al Wasl and Al Jazeera. Al Ain player Lapa Kudju also won the Golden Boot Award as the league goals with 20 goals, and Al -Jazira player Ramon Meris won the professional League’s top scorer award, “Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup”, while Mansour Al -Menhali, the player of Al -Wahda, won the league top scorer award.
The Al -Ahly Youth Club is the most share of the awards, after winning the Golden Ball, the Golden Glove, the Golden Boy, and the Best Coach Award, a success that culminated in an exceptional season concluded by the team by crowning the league title.
The ceremony started with the national peace of the UAE, followed by the presentation of a documentary film dealing with the most prominent stations of the last season. Abdullah Nasser Al -Junaibi, President of the Professional Association, delivered a speech in which he affirmed the association’s pride in the achievements achieved, indicating that the marketing value of the association’s competitions amounted to 2 billion and 600 million dirhams, with 44 million views of television transportation, and 730 thousand views through social media platforms. He also praised the role of sponsors, partners, carriers and the media, stressing that these successes came thanks to the solidarity of clubs and their fans.
