"Cyber security" Participates in laying the foundation stone for the safety and security building in the Maldives

Maleh on August 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, Chairman of the Cyber Security Council of the UAE government, participated in the country delegation, which is on an official visit to the Maldives, in laying the foundation stone for the new safety and security building in the capital Male, in the presence of His Excellency Ali Ihsan, Minister of National Security and Technology, and Ismail Nawin, Commissioner -General of the Maldives, as well as representatives of the Emirati “Prizeet” company implementing the project, based on the directives of the leadership Al -Rashida and the promotion of bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republic of Maldives.
The new building is a vital center for the sovereign infrastructure in the Maldives, as it will include an advanced data center in addition to the Cyber Security Operations Center of the Maldives, advanced platforms that depend on artificial intelligence, analysis of huge data and data science, dedicated to monitoring security threats and responding to them with high efficiency and support for data -based decisions, and promoting pre -emptive capabilities in protection and planning.
The “Brssate” company is implementing the new building project according to the highest international standards, by providing it with integrated technical infrastructure that supports the protection of sovereign data and improving operational efficiency, in establishing the Maldives position in adopting advanced digital solutions for public security and safety.

These efforts come within the framework of cooperation and providing bridges of partnership with friendly countries to enhance digital safety and security.
During the visit, His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al -Kuwaiti opened the Cyber Security Operations Center of the Maldives, which aims to enhance the capabilities of monitoring, monitoring and analysis, and raising the level of readiness to deal with cybersecurity.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al -Kuwaiti also held official meetings with the Minister of Information and Government Technology and the head of the National Center for Cyber Security in the Maldives, where ways of cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of information technology and cyber security were discussed, reviewing digital challenges and ways to develop national capabilities to confront them.

Partnership opportunities were also discussed in the areas of artificial intelligence and the analysis of huge data, and the benefit of the successful experiences of the UAE in protecting biological infrastructure, and supporting innovation and digital growth in the Maldives.
