Lewandowski rejects the salary of 100 million euros annually from an Arab club

Polish star Robert Lewandowski, Barcelona striker, received an astronomical offer in the summer of 2024 from an Arab club, with an annual salary of 100 million euros.
But Lewandowski preferred to stay in Barcelona and compete for each title with the Catalan team.
Benny Zahavi, the veteran player’s agent, revealed this in an interview with the Polish newspaper “Fakat”.
“Lewandowski received an offer in the summer last year with an annual salary of more than 100 million euros,” Zahafi said.
“But he preferred to compete for the Spanish League and the Champions League. He almost achieved the dualism,” he added.
Lewandowski, 37, remains the first scorer for Barcelona since he moved to the team from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022, and its contract ends in the summer of next year 2026.
The Polish star contributed to the crowning of Barcelona with the local trio, the King’s Cup, and the Spanish Super Cup last season, 2024 – 2025.
