Falcons’ auctions start tomorrow, before the start of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Show

Abu Dhabi, August 14 / WAM / The auctions of the falcons will start tomorrow, Saturday, before the start of the activities of the twenty -second edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Show, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, President of the Emirates Falcon Club, during the period from August 30 to September 7.

The “ADNEC” group, in cooperation with the UAE Falcon Club, continues its efforts to improve the experience of hawks, based on the remarkable success of the previous session, which established the position of auctions as one of the most prominent heritage events in the region.

This year’s version includes an expanded program that includes eight attendees, in addition to an electronic auction that begins with the launch of the exhibition activities and continues throughout its days, in addition to the options of urban and electronic registration, allowing the display of the distinguished elite of hawks in terms of their beauty and skills in sniping, and represented by the most prominent local and international farms.

This development aims to meet the aspirations of those interested and the amateurs alike, and reflects the advanced level that this event has reached as a heritage platform that combines originality and renewal in the world of falconry.

This year’s version is witnessing a large expansion of hawks auctions, as more than a thousand hawks from local and international farms will be evaluated by a specialized committee of experts, provided that a group of them will be chosen to participate in the auctions of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Fair.

It is expected that these auctions will attract major local and international auctions, to be one of the most popular and most famous heritage auctions for this year, with the high competitiveness, advanced organizational level and international standards in choosing the participating falcons.

Four auctions out of the eight before the exhibition activities start, on August 16, 23 and 24, which gives participants from all over the world a unique opportunity to bid on the distinct falcons, in a competitive atmosphere that combines enthusiasm and ancient legacy of falconry sport.

The remaining four auctions will be held within the exhibition activities at the Emnik -Abu Dhabi Center, on August 30 and 31, and September 6 and 7, and the attendees will have the opportunity to direct competition for the acquisition of the best hawks, in an enthusiastic atmosphere that brings together hunting and equestrian fans from all over the world.

The reception of visitors begins from 8:00 am until 7:30 pm to complete the registration procedures and see the offered falcons, while the actual auction begins at 7:30 pm.

The “ADNEC” group was keen to facilitate the registration process by providing digital platforms for easy access, as the participants can enter the website and open an account to raise the required documents and pay the retrieval security deposit, and then start bidding.

In addition to the eight urban auctions, a safe electronic platform will be launched to organize electronic auctions for falcons, which allows the auctions from inside and outside the country, while displaying detailed information about each falcon to ensure the maximum transparency.

Distinguished Falcons, classified daily, will be displayed, with accurate data, in order to enhance the confidence of the participants, whether beginners or professional in the falconry field.

The organizing committee will examine the safety of all the participating falcons according to the latest criteria approved to verify their health.

This integrated approach comes within the framework of enhancing the credibility of the auction and preserving the ancient cultural heritage represented by the sport of falconry, as the committee set accurate standards for evaluating birds, including weight, color, and detailed measurements for each falcon.

Falcons auctions in the exhibition embody a unique model that combines originality and professionalism, while the exhibition continues to consolidate its position as a leading platform in the world of falconry at the region level, attracting interested and experts from around the world.

The Abu Dhabi International Fishing and Equestrian Exhibition 2025 aims to support and encourage falcon farms in the areas of buying, selling and reproduction, as well as promoting innovation and adopting sustainable practices and provides an integrated platform for communication and exchange of experiences between international experts, exhibitors and falconers.
