17 indicators launched by health to measure the quality of health services

The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of an integrated system to follow up and evaluate performance in the directorates of health affairs in all parts of the Republic, which includes 17 indicators distributed over 12 major sectors, with the aim of upgrading the quality of health services, accelerating the response to the needs of patients, and providing a more efficient and safe health care experience. Abdul Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, that the system includes accurate indicators that cover vital sectors such as the operation of emergency departments, the speed of medical decisions, preventive medicine, infection control, primary health care, family development, medical professions development, nursing, quality of care, patient safety, crisis and disaster management, financial and administrative affairs, engineering, equipment, and transformation Digital. For strategic management, the ministry has prepared a unified booklet for indicators as a procedural reference for the follow -up teams, to ensure the unification of measurement tools across the provinces and the accuracy of the comparisons.
