The Qatar Chess Federation participates with 12 players and players in the festival" Abu Dhabi International"
Abu Dhabi, August 16 / WAM / The Qatar Chess Federation announced the participation of 12 players and players in the various championships within the activities of the 31st edition of the Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival, from 15 to 24 August.
Hamad Mohamed Al -Tamimi, Executive Director of the Qatar Chess Federation, said that the festival holds a great name in the world of chess, with the participation of the elite players from 82 countries around the world, which represents a distinct experience and great friction for the players and players of Qatar, with the participants in the various championships of the festival.
He explained that the Qatari capital, Doha, completed all the levels of preparation for hosting the World Cup for High Chess and the kidnapper 2025, next December, with an expected participation between 300 to 400 players and players from all over the world, according to the standards followed and classifications for the competitors, hoping a distinguished Gulf participation in the tournament activities.
