Signing a memorandum of understanding between "Homeland" and"Axide Business Center" To enhance innovation

Abu Dhabi, August 19 / WAM / Al -Watan Fund signed a memorandum of understanding with the Axide Business Center with the aim of opening new horizons for cooperation in the areas of innovation and developing emerging projects.

The Memorandum of Understanding, which comes under the gracious patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, states a number of major items, most notably joint cooperation in developing initiatives and programs that support entrepreneurs and innovators in the UAE, and exchange experiences and knowledge between the two parties in areas of common concern, and the provision of innovative work and solutions to enable the starting companies to start and grow, and organize Joint activities and workshops aim to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship, and support national projects in line with the state’s vision in sustainable development and knowledge economy.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by His Excellency Yasser Al -Qarqawi, Director General of Al -Watan Fund, and Abdullah Mohamed Ibrahim Abdel -Rahman Al -Shaibani, Director General of the Exid Business Center, within the framework of the national efforts of the fund to support entrepreneurship and enhance cooperation between the various institutions supporting national projects, and to provide innovative platforms to support young entrepreneurs, where the two parties stressed that this partnership reflects their commitment to enhance the process of sustainable development in the state, and establish the UAE’s status as an incubator Universal for innovation and entrepreneurship, in line with the directives of good leadership and future vision of the Emirates.

Yasser Al -Qarqawi said that the Al -Watan Fund led by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan is keen to support and care for the sons and daughters of the Emirates in various fields, especially the leadership and management of business, and their enabling from the private sector, indicating that the fund does not save and extends for the sake of achieving these goals, which is integrating with the wise vision of the rational government, which embodies the vision of the homeland of the homeland that bears the slogan of “a strong national identity The sustainable pillars of responsibility, empowerment and productivity, through which the fund is heading to train and empower the UAE youth and activate their role in the investment and economic scene in the Emirates, especially entrepreneurs who participated in the business incubators and startups program.

He stressed that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Exide Business Center comes from the firm belief in the importance of supporting youth and entrepreneurs, and providing the appropriate environment for their innovations and ideas, in a way that contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and achieving the aspirations of the rational leadership.

He said that the signing of this memo establishes to build bridges of cooperation, partnership and coordination with the aim of achieving the goals shown in the framework of promoting integration and fruitful cooperation for the good, progress and elevation for the youth of the Emirates, and in order to enhance the partnership relations between the country and various public and private institutions in all areas of work of common concern, to ensure the advancement and leadership of the people of the country, and to take care of initiatives, projects and activities that are in the interest of the future of the UAE youth.

Abdullah Al -Shaibani stressed that the partnership with the Al -Watan Fund will open new horizons for cooperation in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute to enabling a new generation of entrepreneurs and supporting the development process in the United Arab Emirates.
