Emirates and Kazakhstan are looking to cooperate in the field of archive and national libraries

Abu Dhabi, August 21/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Majid Al Ali, Director General of Archive and the National Library with His Excellency Rawan Jumbik, Ambassador of Kazakhstan with the state, discussed ways to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences between the UAE and Kazakhstan in the field of archive and national libraries and ways to preserve heritage in all fields.
During the meeting, the two sides praised the distinguished relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Kazakhstan, which are strengthened with the support of the leaders of the two countries, and also praised the strong relations between the archive, the national library and the Kazakh embassy in the country.
His Excellency the Ambassador listened to a brief presentation on the archive, the national library, its mission, its vision, and its agenda full of future initiatives and projects, its role in collecting the memory of the country and preserving it for generations, and its most prominent projects and initiatives.
The presentation touched on the archives and the national library that documents the joint relations between the two friendly countries.
His Excellency Ambassador Al -Kazakhsani and his companions toured the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan hall, which is an interactive platform and an exhibition that documents stations from the Federation’s march, and displays rare historical photos and documents that embody the vision of the founder and al -Bani, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in building the modern state.
His Excellency also visited the Sheikh Sorour bin Muhammad Al Nahyan hall, which is a qualitative addition to the archive and the National Library, with its rare holdings, documents and pictures that chronicled important stations in the history of the state, and document the biography of one of the prominent national figures who contributed to the service of the country.
