I was not afraid to take responsibility after the departure of Amouta .. I was courageous

Al -Jazira coach, Algerian Hamza Sarrar, said that the team’s victory over Sharjah with a goal without a response, on Friday, in the second round of the ADNOC Professional League represents a great moral incentive for the players as it came after the loss in the first round against Khorfakkan, which led to the dismissal of Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta, indicating that after assuming technical responsibility, he asked Al -Jazeera players to play as one group away from the individual performance The victory over Sharjah, although the task was not easy for a large team like Sharjah.
He told «Emirates Today»: “The password in this victory was in the players themselves because they felt great responsibility besides studying the opponent well.” He pointed out that “the role of the coach in the match ranges between 30 % to 40 % and the rest is the role of the players on the field.”
And whether he was afraid of taking over the task of the Al -Jazira team after the psychological state that the players went through after the loss against Khorfakkan as well as the departure of Amouta, Hamza Sarrar said: “On the contrary, I was not afraid to take responsibility, and my confidence in myself was great, and the most important thing in such cases is that the coach be brave, and I focused during the preparations that preceded the Sharjah match on the mental and tactical side of the players.”
“Any global coach dreams about working with the current group of Al -Jazeera players, and I am happy to work with them now.”
