Zayed University receives 2860 students in the academic year 2025-2026

Zayed University received 2860 students for the academic year 2025-2026, the highest rate of registered by Zayed University in enrollment rates. This rise reflects the university’s reputation in academic excellence and its growing role in preparing the next generation of leaders, innovators and creators in the UAE and abroad.

The new batch witnessed a wide turnout in the colleges of management, technical innovation, communication science and media, in parallel with creative specializations and health programs that attracted a large number of students, reflecting the high -level academic diversity of the university.

Dr. Michael Alan, Acting Director of Zayed University, stressed: “The student batch for this year highlights the deep confidence that students and their families give to the distinguished academic education offered by Zayed University, which does not only enrich the academic scene in the university’s corridors – but also reflects the alignment of our academic programs with the requirements of the times, as every student joins Zayed University becomes a partner in the journey of science and knowledge, which combines commitment Contributing to the formulation of inspiring national success stories, enhancing the personal development of each student and achieving joint achievement.

This largest batch in the number of students this year will have the experience of the first year (FYE), which represents an integrated path for the student’s march since the first day. The first year experience program was designed to be comprehensive, stimulating and unique, with a focus on developing empowered, qualified and ready individuals to achieve success in our contemporary world.

The first year experience is an organized program that extends over two semesters, aimed at establishing a solid foundation for individual development skills, academic excellence, and the ability to adapt. The program focuses on developing basic skills, including personal growth, professional readiness, leadership, flexibility, digital skill, and stimulating societal awareness. By providing allocated counseling, academic guidance, interactive activities, applied workshops, and a unique university life experience, students in their first year acquire practical skills that enable them to achieve success at Zayed University and in their future professional paths.

A specialized team of students (first year ambassadors), who have received the highest levels of training, takes a fundamental role in guiding new students from their peers by providing academic and social support for them, starting from the academic counseling week “Ya Hala” and continuing until the end of the school year, where (first year ambassadors) helps students to identify university educational resources and participate in student clubs, promote the spirit of citizenship and highlight Their cultural identity.
