Ainawiya precedent in the Professional Cup .. Foreign referee in the preliminary round

“Emirates Today” learned that a foreign arbitration team will manage the Al Ain team’s confrontation in front of the Kalba Union, scheduled at 08:30 pm next Saturday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, within the first leg of the (preliminary) round of the competition, after the club deposited the financial costs of the referees, and he has already received an official message from the Football Association with approval.

This step is registered as a historical precedent, as Al -Zaeem has never resorted to the option of foreign referees in the matches of the first round of this competition since its inception, but rather, as most competing teams, used to have local teams in this early stage of the competitions, while some clubs usually resort to this option in the final match.

This development comes after a period of tensions that witnessed the relationship between Al Ain Club and the Football Association, due to the objection to the arbitration in the Professional League, which was included in mutual data between the two parties during the past weeks.

It should be noted that the crisis erupted after the Al Ain match and the regulations in the first round of the ADNOC Professional League, when the club issued a statement in which he criticized the arbitration, and the federation replied with a strong statement, in which he refused any doubts about the integrity of its referees, warning against detracting their competence, and declaring that it will take legal measures towards the eye. This escalation prompted the club to issue another statement, in which he affirmed its condemnation of the federation’s speech, announcing that the case was referred to the competent authorities.

The use of foreign arbitration at this early stage of the competition’s life is an indication of a new approach that the club follows in this tournament specifically, after he previously used to rely on foreign teams in its matches in the ADNOC Professional League, and the President’s Cup.

On the other hand, Al Ain Club agreed to the transfer of Argentine player Matteo Snapria to the Brazilian club Bahia, so that the club folds the page of the last players who had joined the “leader” at the recommendation of Argentine coach Hernan Crespo, who was subsequently sacked due to the decline in the results.

The list, along with Snapria, included both citizens of Felipe Salomoni and Gino Infantino, Baraguian Matthias Sigovia, and Portuguese Fabio Cardoso.

It is noteworthy that Al -Ain used a foreign arbitration team, for the first time, this season in its last match in the second round of the role of the professionals against the Dibba team, which was run by Turkish referee Hillel Amut.
