An eye dialogue session reviews strategic initiatives to enable distant societies
Al -Ain, August 27 / WAM / The Al -Shuwaib Council in Al -Ain today hosted a dialogue session that focused on enabling remote local communities by activating institutional and societal partnerships, in conjunction with the “Year of Society”.
During the session, which was held under the title “The Sustainability of Community Partnership in order to enable distant local societies” within the “Community Dialogue” initiative, and organized by the Council of Youth of the Ministry of Community Empowerment in cooperation with the UAE Experts Program, Al Ain Youth Council, and Abu Dhabi Councils at the Presidential Court, a group of officials in development agencies in the country reviewed the most prominent projects and strategic initiatives.
The discussion revolves around the development of an integrated services system that reaches citizens in their places of residence, and the launch of projects to create mini -economies in villages that support young people, women and senior citizens, in addition to activating the role of youth and third sector institutions by expanding volunteer work through qualitative programs such as “Takatat” and “volunteers, Emirates”.
The session was attended by His Excellency Aisha Ahmed Youssef, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Community Empowerment, His Excellency Muhammad Khalifa Al -Kaabi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Balanced Development Council, His Excellency Mohamed Al Balushi, Executive Director of Participation and Social Empowerment Sector at the Community Development Department in Abu Dhabi, and His Excellency Ahmed Talib Al Shamsi, CEO of the Emirates Foundation, Khamis Ali Al Shehhi, official of the Activities and Projects Unit at the “All UAE” Association, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Salem Al -Amiri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Cancer Association, and a number of the people of Al -Shuwaib and members of the youth councils.
The participants stressed that these integrated efforts aim to enhance the quality of life, activate the energies of society members, and establish their role as a basic partner in the comprehensive development process in the state.
It is noteworthy that the “Community Dialogue” initiative launched by the Ministry of Community Empowerment Youth Council is an interactive dialogue platform that brings together decision makers and officials, and those with inspiring experiences and successes in the UAE, within a positive dialogue to discuss various societal issues, and see best practices, with the aim of coming up with effective and practical recommendations and solutions, working to enable all societal groups, and enhance authentic Emirati values and customs.
