14 clubs in the Arab Basketball Championship in Dubai

The Arab Basketball Federation announced the participation of 14 clubs in the Arab Clubs Championship, which is held in its 37th edition at the Al -Nasr Club Hall in Dubai, during the period between September 24 and the sixth of next October.

The General Secretariat of the Arab Federation officially affirmed the requests of both the Qatari Arab title holder, and its citizen, the Al -Rayyan Club team, in addition to three Kuwaiti clubs, namely Kazma, Qadisiyah and Kuwait, and two clubs from Syria, which are Al -Wahda and Al -Wathba, and two teams from Yemen are the people of Hadramout and the port, Al -Bashaer and Sib from the Sultanate of Oman, the Lebanese Anthony, and the Libyan Al -Nasr The host, and waiting for the coming hours to confirm the rest of the teams officially, especially the Lebanese wisdom.

The President of the Arab Basketball Federation, Major General Ismail Al -Garqawi, confirmed in press statements that “the 37th edition includes the elite of Arab clubs, and that victory with hospitality is able to organize an exceptional version.” He pointed to the possibility of increasing the number of clubs participating in light of the timing of the perfect championship that represents the best preparation for both local seasons or continental and international benefits.

It is noteworthy that the last version that was held in Egypt, last October, witnessed for the first time a record participation of the Emirati clubs, which is Sharjah, regulations and unity.

The Egyptian clubs occupy the most crowned with the title of Arab club championships, with a total of 11 titles, including seven with the signing of the Alexandrian Federation, three for the island, and the only title of Al -Ahly, while the Lebanese clubs occupy Al -Wasafa with a total of nine titles, five of which are for the sports team, along with two titles of wisdom, and the only title of both the Humanman and Beirut.
