Two steps separate “white” from the World Cup … and the task is not impossible

The national football team goalkeeper, Ali Khasif, stressed that the task of “Al -Abyad” in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup Finals is “not impossible” against the Amman and Qatar national teams during the two matches of the appendix, scheduled for next October, stressing that their goal as players is clear, which is to qualify for the World Cup, indicating that the players are ready for the challenge, and they have only two steps in order to celebrate with the Emirati fans.

Ali Khasif said in press statements: “The current preparations for the team during the internal camp in Dubai are going well, and our goal as players during the next two matches of Amman and Qatar is to appear in an honorable technical manner befitting the UAE’s lover, and reserve a seat in the World Cup Finals.”

The team continues its daily preparations at the Dubai Police Officers Club stadium in preparation for its friendly matches against both Syria and Bahrain, on the fourth and eighth of this month, in the framework of the preparation program that had started last July in the Austria camp, during which “Al -Abyad” played two and two friendly matches against the Italian teams of Lecce and Bravo Slovenie.

The coach of the national team, Olario Cosmin, focused, during the daily exercises, on the physical, technical, tactical and organizational aspects on the field, leading to stability on the elements that the team can play the two matches of the annexes, as well as stability on the appropriate way of play that enables it to overcome this challenge, leading to the reap of the qualification card to the World Cup.

Khasif added: “Our goal is clear, which is to qualify for the World Cup, and we are all players knowing what is required of us, regardless of the confrontation of any team.”

On his opinion on the new elements that joined the national team in the recent period, Ali Khasif said: “We know each other well through the Emirati league,” noting that “the coach of the team, Cosmin, did a great job, and mixed the players with experience and youth,” considering that “all this matter is in the interest of the Emirates team, and everyone is in the full readiness required.”

Khasif pointed out that “the coach of the team, Cosmin, knows the Emirati league greatly, and also knows the strengths and weaknesses of Qatar and Oman.”

He revealed that all the players of the national team are excited to play their role, and that as captain of the team thanks his teammates for their cooperation, stressing that “all the players are understanding, and there is great harmony between them to achieve the desired goal.”

Regarding the message that it can be addressed to the Emirati fans, Ali Khasif said: “The audience is aware of what is required of it in the next stage, because the fans are influential in the matches by spreading the spirit of enthusiasm in the players, and the Emirati fans do not need an invitation to support his country during the qualifying attaché to the World Cup.”
