The evidence aims to empower the school community, from administrators, teachers and student mentors, from professional dealing with students affected by crises, which may include natural disasters such as earthquakes, torrents, conflicts and wars, in addition to horrific traffic accidents and epidemics. Harming and unexpected, leads to behavioral, knowledge and emotional disorders for the student, stressing that the resulting symptoms are temporary responses that can be exceeded with appropriate support. div> Prevention and early intervention h2>
The initiative exceeds mere reaction to focus on prevention and Early intervention and treatment, where the guide is classified as targeted crises into three main levels: individual crises, such as diagnosing a serious illness or the loss of a parent, and group such as accidents that affect a group of students, and societal that affect an entire city such as floods or epidemics. Through this classification, the guide provides a deep understanding of the stages of the student’s crisis, starting from shock and denial, through anger and sadness, to the stage of adaptation and recovery. At the level of school administration, a specialized team is formed for Crisis management , training teachers and students in evacuation and safety plans, and providing a supportive school environment. While the teachers contain students inside the classes, and encourage them to express their feelings without ridicule, while the student mentor takes the affected cases and provides individual and group therapy sessions.
