285 thousand inspection visits to human resources during the first half

Dubai on September 1/ WAM/ The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation implemented during the first half of this year about 285 thousand inspection visits to its registered facilities, as part of its efforts to enhance the regulation of the labor market and increase its efficiency and competitiveness, which resulted in the seizure of violations of more than 5400 establishments.
The Ministry stated in a statement that the violations included cases such as: failure to adhere to paying wages, Emirati resettlement, not practicing actually licensed activity, and the presence of workers without a real work relationship, confirming the taking of legal and administrative measures against the violating installations, fining them and referring files some of them to the Public Prosecution in accordance with the nature and division of the violation.
The Ministry indicated that the inspection system is an essential pillar to monitor the commitment of establishments to the legislation of the labor market, pointing to its dependence on the latest digital technologies, and the risk assessment matrix provided by the first electronic inspection system of its kind in the region.
She noted that the system relies on qualified inspectors who are trained according to international best practices, as well as pre -emptive services that enable employers to assess compliance with their facilities through smart application, while enhancing awareness as part of the ministry’s policies.
She drew attention to the implementation of joint inspection campaigns in cooperation with government agencies, and the provision of multiple channels to receive complaints and societal communications in complete secrecy, in a way that contributes to upgrading the supervisory environment and building an effective partnership with the private sector.
