Extending the work of the Board of the Airplane Federation to a new electoral cycle

The General Assembly of the Emirates Volleyball Federation approved an overwhelming majority of the extension of the current board of directors, headed by Abdullah Jumaa Al -Darmaki, for a new electoral session that extends from 2024 to 2028, during its extraordinary meeting held today at the headquarters of the Sports Federations of the National Olympic Committee in Dubai.
The association came at the request of the Board of Directors based on Article (35) of the Federation’s articles of association, which permits the invitation to an extraordinary general assembly to discuss specific topics, including the extension of the Board of Directors.
The decision obtained the approval of 15 out of 16 clubs who participated in the meeting, out of a total of 19 clubs member at the General Assembly, in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Sports.
Abdullah Juma Al -Darmaki expressed his thanks to the members of the General Assembly for their confidence, stressing the commitment of the Council to continue to work on developing the game and supporting clubs to achieve more achievements.
He said in press statements: “The successes that have been achieved during the past years have been the result of close cooperation between the Board of Directors and the General Assembly, and we hope to continue this cooperation for the benefit of the game.”
