The pressures in the World Cup supplement will be greater on competitors … and not the UAE national team

The national football team player, Yahya Al-Ghassani, described the friendly match against Syria, which brought them together today, Thursday, and ended with the victory of Al-Abyad 3-1, as “strong at the physical and technical levels”, and as a strong and useful preparation before the Asian qualifying supplement to the 2026 World Cup, scheduled for next month.
Al -Ghassani said in press statements after the match: “Our team has benefited greatly from the confrontation, away from the result … Everyone showed that they are at the heart of one man, and everyone sought to exploit the experience to highlight the value of Al -Abyad and his strength before the confrontations of Oman and Qatar.”
Al -Ghassani ruled out that there would be pressure on the national team because he will fight the qualifying supplement outside his land, and he said: “The pressures will not be on us, perhaps they will be greater on competitors, on our part we have one goal which is to qualify to achieve the homeland’s dream of qualifying for the World Cup.”
