D. Manal Awad: The start of the afforestation work of the new Salah Salem axis
Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Acting Minister of Environment, received a report today, Saturday, on the executive position of the fourth stage of the presidential initiative to grow & quot; 100 million trees & quot; which comes in implementation of the assignments of the political leadership, and aims to increase the per capita green surfaces appropriately and improve quality Air.
& nbsp; Aquia Nidosa, and with regard to the ready -made basins of agriculture, it reached about 20 tikoma trees and 40 Akassia Nidosa trees. The ongoing comes within the framework of an integrated plan adopted by the Ministry to increase the per capita share of green surfaces and improve the quality of life in cities, in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, and in coordination with the various agencies concerned with the governorates, confirming the government’s endeavor to enhance the civilizational appearance of the main axes and improve the indicators of air quality and environmental health and support the state’s efforts in facing climate changes and achieving the goals of sustainable development.
as the minister stressed Local and Acting Minister of Environment on the importance of periodic follow -up to the executive position of the initiative in all governorates to ensure commitment to the specified time programs and the quality of the implementation work.
