Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, continued steps to facilitate the procedures for issuing licenses for various activities, in a meeting held today, in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Engineer Sharif Al -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Major General Mohamed El Gayar, Assistant Minister of Interior for the Communications and Information Technology Systems Sector, Dr. Tariq Al -Houbi, Chairman of the Authority National Food Safety, Major General Hazem Farouk, Director of the General Administration of Civil Protection, and Major General Shukri Hamat, Director of Operations Department in the Security Sector, and officials of the ministries and relevant authorities. It increases the opportunities for operation and growth for the different sectors, noting that there is a special focus in this regard, provided that the local product is based on the requirements for licensing activities, on top of which is related to civil protection requirements. & Nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;

During the meeting, Dr. Manal Awad presented the most prominent procedures implemented by the Ministry in coordination with the relevant ministries and authorities, foremost of which is setting facilitated controls, criteria and simplified procedures to fulfill civil protection approvals, and issuing traffic approval for new shops according to the number of those who are visited, and work is also done in coordination with the Ministry of Communications and Technology Information, on the establishment of a digital platform for the governance of licensing procedures, as well as coordination with the National Food Safety Authority with regard to activities that circulate food. Technology, and shortening the time of issuing approvals with the determination of time periods for each stage until the issuance of the final approval, in addition to setting a special code for public stores that includes the requirements, definitions and training in protecting public stores from the dangers of fire, while giving the judicial seizure capacity to workers at licensing centers. For various activities, pointing out in this regard that the National Center for Housing and Building Research has relied in the implementation of these procedures on three basic principles, including: reducing the cost of business within the scope of security and safety limits, and the localization of the industry to reduce pressure on foreign exchange resources, with the involvement of the private sector and the unification of concepts and visions. For the foundations of design and implementation requirements to protect the facilities from the fire, the requirements for the protection of buildings and public stores were issued from the dangers of the fire, and coordination was also made with the Egyptian General Authority for Standardization and Quality to joint supervision of the operation of one of the pumps test laboratories of the private sector, and the issuance of the necessary licenses was completed to create the efficiency and validity of the pumps, warning and extinguishing devices, adding that it was also done as well The completion of the preparation of the continuous training plan in the field of firefighting for individuals working in installations, and several training courses were held in this regard in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Development, the Engineers Syndicate, and the Civil Protection Training Institute.
