American Veto disrupts a draft resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza

The United States used the “veto” veto, today, to drop a draft resolution of the UN Security Council that would demand an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and demands Israel to raise all restrictions imposed on delivering aid to the Palestinian sector.

The project, which was drafted by the ten elected members of a total of 15 members in the council, was also demanding the immediate and unconditional release of all the hostages detained by the “Hamas” movement and other factions. The project got the support of 14 members.

This is the sixth time that the United States has used the cassation of the Security Council over the war that has been going on for nearly two years between Israel and the Hamas movement.
