Portuguese media reported that Al -Jazira Club reached an agreement on the inclusion of the Congolese player, Simon Banza, during the current transfer period, to complete the list of foreign players in “Abu Dhabi’s pride” before the registration door was closed.

The newspaper “Record” said that Al -Jazira Club has completed its agreement with the Congolese international striker, coming from the Portuguese Sporting Braga, in a deal worth nine million euros, compared to 80% of the rights of the player’s contract, with the addition of two million euros as performance -related incentives.

She pointed out that the player’s transfer to the ADNOC Professional League has become a matter of time, as it remains to pass the medical examinations to announce the deal officially.

She explained: «The contract with Panza comes to put an end to the long negotiation series that accompanied his transfer, after the player entered a circle of attention more than one club during the past weeks, before Al -Jazeera settled the deal in his interest to strengthen his attack line.

It is noteworthy that Simon Panza, 27, started his football career in France via the Lens Academy, before he left to Portugal, where he emerged remarkably with the Famalikao club, to grab the eyes of Sporting Braga, who contracted him in the summer of 2022. And during his career in the Portuguese League, Panza was distinguished by his scoring capabilities and physical strength, recording striking numbers It made him one of the most prominent attackers in the competition, knowing that Simon Banza played last season with the Turkish Trabzon Sport, and appeared at a distinguished level, as he participated in 31 games in the Turkish League, as he scored 19 goals and played four assists.

Panza participated with the Democratic Republic of the Congo on several occasions, stressing his position as one of the important names in his national team’s attack. As he moved to the island, the Congolese striker hopes to open a new page in his career, and to contribute to his European experience in strengthening the aspirations of “Abu Dhabi’s pride” during the coming period.
