Championship launch "Union Classic" Hockey in Al Ain with the participation of 32 teams
Al -Ain on September 22 / WAM / The activities of the first edition of the “Etihad Classic” Ice Championship, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Ain region, with the participation of 450 athletes and sports, represented 32 teams, for junior, women, and men.
The opening ceremony of the championship, organized by the Abu Dhabi Winter Games, was held with the support of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council until the 27th of this day, in the “Hili Hall”, for skiing in the Al Ain region, in the presence of Hamad Al -Shiriyani, CEO of the club, and Khalaf Salem, Director of Partners Partners Department in the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Juma Muhammad Al Dhaheri, Secretary -General of the Emirates Federation of Winter Sports.
The “Galaxy Academy” team topped the junior competitions under 15 years, secondly, the “Dubai Sand Stores” team, third Galaxy 2, while the junior under 10 witnessed the Galaxy team winning first place, and secondly the “Dubai Sand Stores” team, and the third team “Storms Academy” Abu Dhabi.
The men’s competition in the adult category resulted in the “Storms Abu Dhabi” team over the “Thebes”, 5-1, while the “Al -Dhabi” team beat “Dubai deer” 2 – zero, in the women’s category.
