He paid the price of wasting opportunities and not investing offensive control in front of Al Ain

Al -Ahly youth coach Paulo Souza expressed his great pride in his team’s players despite the loss against Al Ain with a goal without a response at the top of the fifth round of the ADNOC Professional League, stressing that his team presented his best match since he took over, but he paid the price of wasting opportunities and not investing offensive control.
“The opponent has exhausted us from the many opportunities and attacks, but we did not succeed in translating it into goals,” Souza said at the press conference after the match. Frankly, a big word for the team players, I am very proud of what they presented on the field. ”
He added: “Al -Ahly youth made everything in the match, from opportunities across the parties and from the depth, and we deserved more than one penalty, but in football it is not a condition that you win when you are the best. Football is the efficiency of exploiting opportunities, and this is what we missed today. ”
The Portuguese coach indicated that Al Ain played most of the meeting on counterattacks, and said: “Al Ain relied only on apostates, while we were the most dangerous and most opportunistic party. What we only lack is registration, but in terms of performance and control, this team has provided the best performance since my coming, and therefore I am satisfied and proud of the players. ”
Al Ain attached the first loss to its host, Al -Ahly, the ADNOC Professional League title in a summit match in Rashid Stadium, to be released today, Thursday.
Al -Ain raised its score to 13 points, two points ahead of the unit directly, while the Al -Ahly youth balance was frozen at ten points in fourth place.
