The UAE is participating in the Chinese tour of the Formula 1 world championship
Dubai, September 29/WAM/The Victorian team announced the completion of its readiness to participate in the second and third rounds of the “Formula 1” world championship for the fast boats, scheduled in China, where the second stage starts in the city of Shanghai during the period from 2 to 4 October, followed by the third stage in the city of Zinings from 10 to 12 of the same month.
The mission is chaired by Khaled Khamis bin Dasmal, a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, and includes Mohamed Abdullah Hareb, member of the Board of Directors, and Ahmed Al -Sumaiti, director of the club’s sports teams management, along with the contestants, Alec Wixters and Shawn Tournti.
The team seeks to continue its momentum after the strong performance that it presented in the first round that was held in Indonesia, and ended it in the second place in the overall ranking of the teams with 34 points, while his contestant Alec Wixtergom ranked and summer in the individual arrangement with 24 points, and his teammate Sean Tournti came with 10 points.
The team entered the atmosphere of competitions after a series of preparations and technical experiences, with a special focus on all stages of the championship, from speed races, the best time and free experiences to the main race, with the ambition to achieve the best results and win the largest number of points to continue the competition strongly for the titles of the rounds and the general title of the season.
Ahmed Al -Sumaiti, Director of the Sports Teams Department at the Dubai International Marine Sports Club, stressed the completion of the preparations for the two rounds of the two rounds to be on the podiums and win the titles, indicating that the competition will be strong in view of the participating teams, expressing his confidence in the team’s capabilities to continue the achievements that have always been associated with the name of Victorian as a prominent Emirati mark based on Dubai to the world.
The Abu Dhabi Fast boats in the same rounds also participate in the contestants Mansour Al -Mansouri and its Swedish colleague Eric Stark.
Thani Al -Qamzi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Fast Backes Team, confirmed that the two tours of China represent a detailed station to compete for advanced positions, to compensate for the unsuccessful start in Indonesia, expressing his appreciation for the support and interest of Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, for the team’s march, and his participation in international events.
