Health care launches the first integrated unit for speech and psychological rehabilitation in South Sinai
The Public Authority for Health Care announced the inauguration of & nbsp; the first integrated unit for communication, psychological rehabilitation and sensory integration in South Sinai Governorate, within the Fayrouz Medical Complex in the city of Tor Sina Government. The General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, that the unit was designed according to the highest international standards and based on accurate studies of the needs of the local community in South Sinai Governorate, especially in remote and Bedouin areas, in a manner that guarantees reducing burdens on families by providing service within the governorate’s scope instead of having to travel long distances. 250 therapeutic and rehabilitation sessions per month, covering the areas of speech, psychological evaluation, behavioral therapy, and sensory rehabilitation, which ensures the provision of comprehensive services to the target groups with quality comparable to international medical centers.
& nbsp; A pioneer embodies the vision of the Egyptian state in investing in people as an essential pillar of sustainable development, stressing that such initiatives reflect positively on the quality of the lives of citizens and give them better opportunities for societal integration.
& nbsp; Until the authority seeks, through this expansion of the packages of services provided under the umbrella of comprehensive health insurance, to establish the concept of integrated health care and ensure qualitative services reaching all citizens, especially in remote and Bedouin areas, in a way that establishes the principles of justice and parity in obtaining health services.
