The Sharjah Heritage Institute successfully praises the narrator’s forum
Sharjah, October 2/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, Chairman of the Supreme Committee Organizing the Sharjah International Forum for Rawa, confirmed that the twenty -fifth session of the Forum held under the slogan “Tales of the Traveler” formed a solid base for a new launch in the event’s march.
In his statements, the Muslim extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for his patronage, directives and continuous support for the work of the forum and the activities of all the institute and expressed his gratitude to the countries, entities and institutions that contributed to the success of the activities of the forum internally and externally.
Al -Muslim explained that this course was distinguished by the participation of 37 countries, and more than 90 personalities between narrators, researchers and academics, including 33 narrators, and 56 participants in the scientific program, along with three coaches who presented specialized workshops.
He pointed out that the forum embraced more than 100 workshops, in addition to the issuance of 40 new books within the series “Eyes of Tour” and the Blog for Arab Trips.
He added that these activities combined made the forum a unique global event and a basic reference for the arts of narration, story and travel experiences through the ages.
For its part, Aisha Rashid Al -Hossan Al -Shamsi, Director of the Arab Center for Cultural Heritage, the general coordinator of the forum, explained that the new this year included the launch of the “visual narration” workshop, the “Al -Taja Laboratory” project, and the narrator program to prepare the Sadidin (the first session – the adults category), noting that the forum witnessed the honoring of prominent personalities, most notably His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Al -Murr from the Emirates (honorary character), and Dr. Claudia Maria from Italy (legal personality), in addition to honoring the fulfillment of the creators of Dr. Ali Al -Shaloubi from the Emirates and the artist Amina Kamsu from Morocco.
