Thursday evening, the activities of the Alexandria Film Festival for the Mediterranean countries began in its 41st session, and bears the name of the artist & quot; Laila Elwi & quot; under the patronage of the Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, and Ahmed Khaled Hassan, Governor of Alexandria, on the Alexandria Library Theater. It was designed by the artist Mohamed El-Koumi by using artificial intelligence techniques- the identity of the festival and its connection to Alexandria through the historical waves and architecture, in addition to cinema symbols, to confirm that the festival is a civilized and artistic bridge between the two banks of the Mediterranean. Long novel and registration, short feature and documentary films competition and moving films for the Mediterranean countries, and non -formal competitions, and includes the long Arab feature films competition, the long Egyptian feature film, Egypt’s youth films for students and professionals, children’s films, in addition to the scenario competition, and the arbitration committees include a group of the most prominent critics and cinematographers from different countries, which reflects diversity Cultural and professional for the festival, among them is the writer Samah Abu Bakr Ezzat, Moroccan producer Ibrahim Naitiga, director of photography Joseph Karam, producer Sam Lahoud, Syrian critic Lama Tayara, writer Sayed Mahmoud, Egyptian Swiss director Tamer Ragli.
