"Emirates Sharia Fatwa" It launches a national framework for zakat standards and recommends expanding them to include the rest of the zakat money

Abu Dhabi, October 2 / WAM / The Emirates Legal Fatwa Council issued its closing statement of the symposium “Zakat Dates: Fatimal Rulings and National Justice – Civilizational Civilizational Reviews”, which was held in Abu Dhabi, announcing the launch of the “Emirates Council standards for legal advisory in zakat dates” as a comprehensive national framework, along with a number of practical recommendations aimed at developing the zakat system in the state.
The statement came the fruit of the seminar discussions that was opened yesterday by His Excellency the scholar Abdullah bin Bayah, the head of the council, in conjunction with the season of the totality of the 2025 dates, where he emphasized in his speech that the council estimated the quorum of zakat of dates with a weight of (541) kilograms after drying, praising the approach of the rational leadership in palm care as an authentic national heritage.
The closing statement included a number of practical recommendations, which was the call to expand the scope of legal standards to include the rest of the zakat funds, the preparation of a specialized scientific study to determine the cash value of zakat dates in the country, the promotion of national partnerships with the authorities concerned with palm trees, as well as documenting the experiences of senior farmers, developing the Fatwa research related to zakat, investing in digital means and artificial intelligence To facilitate the payment of zakat accurately and transparently.
The statement also stressed the importance of the role of digital platforms in supporting the fatwa process, and announced the launch of the “tormenting of the tree of life”, which includes integrated Fatwa answers to facilitate the performance of the obligatory, and the council urged the owners of the farms to pay zakat their palms through the digital platforms of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat.
On the sidelines of the symposium, the accompanying “history of dates” exhibition, which brought together the cultural heritage of the Emirati palm and identity, opened through six main pillars that dealt with the leadership of the leadership in the national heritage, the status of the palm in the revelation, and the state efforts in sustaining its cultivation, in addition to displaying modern services and technologies in the field of zakat dates.
