Barcelona coach does not regret his statements about the protection of the Secretary Jamal

Barcelona coach Hanzi Felk confirmed that he does not regret his criticism of the treatment of Spain’s team, Jamal, the star of the team, but stressed that he overlooked this issue.
Felk strongly criticized the return of Jamal, 18, injured from the last international stoppage period in September, and the dispute escalated this week when Barcelona asked to exclude the player from the team’s list for his upcoming matches, before coach Luis de Lavonti summoned him.
Barcelona issued a statement hours after the list was announced, confirming that Jamal suffered a thigh injury during the defeat from Paris Saint -Germain in the middle of the week in the Champions League.
“I do not regret what I said … I wanted to protect my players, my way was to tell them: stop … it was a very reckless behavior,” Felk said in a press conference before his team’s match against Seville in the Spanish League.
He continued in his statements: “Perhaps a good story is useful for you as a media, but all this has become from the past, we have to focus on the present and the future.”
He continued: “The situation you are talking about happened after the last stopping period of the league, and what I want is to protect and support the player, this is the focus of the matter.”
“All of this has become from the past, I do not think negatively, this happens, I also passed it from the other side, it is not easy,” he added.
“I must protect my players, and for this reason I said these comments, I admit that I may have said it stronger than usual.”
He added, “The important thing is to manage the situation together: players, clubs and the team.”
