Opening doors 24 hours for prayer
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – directed today, Monday, to open the Al -Qibtin Mosque in Medina for (24) hours, in order to facilitate the worshipers from Performing prayer at all times.
Al -Qibtin Mosque site and its components
The Al -Qibtin Mosque is located in Medina, specifically on the Khaled bin Al -Walid road, and it is nearly four kilometers from the Prophet’s Mosque. Two parts: the inner section that contains a mihrab heading towards the honorable Kaaba, and the external section that includes another mihrab heading towards the Sham side."Text-Align: Jusify">
Prayer.
The Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – visited a human mother from Bani Salamah a comforter, so she made food for him, and when the noon prayer, the Messenger of God – may God bless him and grant him peace – rose to pray, and after he completed two rak’ahs, the revelation came upon him by turning to the Kaaba honored in the noble verse "We may see your face fluctuating in the sky, so let us let you like a kiss that your face is satisfied with the part of the Sacred Mosque, and where you were not your faces, its part". The restoration and repairs of the Qabtaydin Mosque < /h2>
The mosque witnessed several restoration and reforms throughout history, the most famous of which was carried out by Omar bin Abdulaziz in 87 AH /706 AD, when he was interested in reforming and renewing the mosques that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed, and passed the mosque about 800 years without renovations until Shaheen Al -Jamali renewed it in 893 AH /1488 CE, and then the expansion.
