Israel and Hamas agreed to the first phase of our peace plan

US President Donald Trump announced on the Truth Social platform that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of the Gaza agreement proposed by the United States, which allows for the release of all Israeli hostages.
Trump said on the Truth Social platform, “I am honored to announce that Israel and Hamas have signed the first phase of our peace plan.” He added, “This means that all hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw its forces to an agreed upon line as the first steps towards a strong, lasting and sustainable peace.”
He said: “It is a great day for the Arab and Islamic worlds, for Israel, for all neighboring countries, and for the United States of America. We extend our thanks to the mediators from Qatar, Egypt and Turkey who worked with us to achieve this historic and unprecedented event. All appreciation to the peacemakers!
The US President was holding a roundtable meeting with conservative influencers to discuss the “Antifa” movement, on Wednesday, when Secretary of State Marco Rubio caught his eye while standing in a corner of the blue reception room in the White House, saying that he had news for the president, but he would have to wait until the media left. Then he passed him a handwritten notice on paper bearing the White House logo, which said: “You must acknowledge a post on Truth.” Social soon until the agreement is announced first.” This prompted Trump to declare: “We are very close to reaching an agreement in the Middle East.” The meeting with the influencers had been going on for about two hours when Rubio approached for the first time, so the president invited him in, and whispered a few words to him before handing him the notice.
For his part, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “With God’s help, we will bring them all home,” referring to the Israeli hostages being held in Gaza, shortly after President Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of an agreement regarding Gaza. Netanyahu made these comments in a brief statement.
Netanyahu said that he would invite the government to meet today, to ratify the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and added in a statement, “Today is a great day for Israel.”
Later, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said that he spoke with Trump and they exchanged congratulations on the “historic achievement” of signing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which includes the liberation of all hostages. The office said in a statement that the two sides agreed to continue their close cooperation. Netanyahu invited Trump to address the Knesset.
The Hamas movement announced that an agreement had been reached to end the Gaza war, Israel’s withdrawal, the entry of aid, and the exchange of prisoners. In a statement, the movement called on Trump, the countries guarantoring the agreement, and various Arab, Islamic, and international parties to oblige Israel to fully implement the agreement’s entitlements.
The movement said in an official statement: “After responsible and serious negotiations conducted by the movement and the Palestinian resistance factions regarding President Trump’s proposal in Sharm El-Sheikh, with the aim of reaching an end to the war of genocide against our Palestinian people, and the occupation’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip; Hamas announces that an agreement has been reached stipulating the end of the war on Gaza, the occupation’s withdrawal from it, the entry of aid, and the exchange of prisoners.” The statement added that “the sacrifices of our people will not be in vain, and that we will maintain the covenant, and will not abandon the national rights of our people until freedom, independence and self-determination.”
For his part, Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman, Majid Al-Ansari, announced today that all terms and mechanisms have been agreed upon to implement the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, leading to a halt to the war, the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian detainees, and the entry of aid. He stated via “X” that the details will be announced later.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres welcomed the announcement of an agreement to secure a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of hostages held in the Strip.
