Giza reveals the circumstances of finding a small crocodile in Al-Ahram Gardens

Giza Governorate clarifies that on Friday, October 10, 2025, a report was received stating that a small Nile crocodile had been found in front of Property No. (69 S) in the Hadayek Al-Ahram area.
Engineer Adel Al-Najjar assigned the Governor of Giza, Al-Haram District, to cooperate with the concerned authorities and quickly deal with the report, in order to preserve the safety of the people. Citizens.

Upon examination by the committee present at the site, it was found that the Nile crocodile is small in size, measuring approximately 90 to 100 centimeters in length, and it was controlled by the concerned authorities in coordination with the General Administration of Lands and Environment Police, the General Administration of Civil Protection (Wild Rescue), the Haram District, and the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine. And the Wild Hunting Workers Union. The crocodile was muzzled and handed over to the Wildlife Unit of the Ministry of Environment to take the necessary measures, within the framework of the rules regulating the handling and protection of wild creatures.
The Giza Governorate confirms that the incident has been completely controlled and does not cause concern, and the necessary legal and technical measures are being taken, while monitoring the situation to ensure that such incidents do not occur again and to ensure the safety of the environment.
