The Prime Minister inspects a factory for ready-made clothes

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his entourage inspected the “T&C” factory. Readymade Garments, during his tour today in Qalyubia Governorate, to inspect a number of development and service projects.
The Prime Minister listened to a presentation from Engineer Magdy Tolba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “T&C” Company, about the company, its business developments, exports, and future expansions, explaining that “T&C” Company Readymade Clothes is an “Egyptian-Turkish” company, founded in 2010 in Obour City, with 50% owned by the Egyptian partner and 50% owned by the Turkish partner, with a capital of $3.5 million, noting that the company began production in 2011 with initial investments amounting to about $14 million, while the total capital and company investments during the current year reached approximately $70 million.
In a related context, the engineer indicated Magdy Tolba pointed out that the company provides about 7,200 permanent jobs, and the production volume reaches 55 thousand pieces per day, and work is underway to increase production to 75 thousand pieces per day in the next stage, equivalent to about 17 million pieces annually, explaining that the company aims to achieve sales of up to 120 million dollars by the end of the current year, and seeks to reach 200 million dollars through export entirely.
As the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company explained. "T&C" The company relies on the latest manufacturing technologies with the aim of enhancing the Egyptian industry’s ability to compete in global markets. He stressed that the company’s entire production is regularly exported to more than 50 countries, with the United States of America accounting for 75% of its exports, while 25% is exported to European countries, in order to supply the most prominent international brands with its products, in addition to coordinating with the American and British universities to strengthen the link between education and industry.
And about the company’s efforts. In supporting the green economy and sustainable development, “Talaba” explained The company has established a modern water treatment plant worth 750 thousand euros, with a production capacity of up to 3 thousand cubic meters per day, using the latest advanced technologies in this field.
He also highlighted the company’s commitment to the principles of sustainable development by investing in a project to generate electricity using solar energy, with investments estimated at about one million dollars. This project aims to enhance the use of clean energy in the company’s production processes. In addition, the company By recycling leftover fabrics and converting them into new products that are sold locally and exported to foreign markets.
During his tour of the factories, the Prime Minister inspected the laundromat, where the Chairman of the Board of Directors of “T&C” Company confirmed that the laundromat is the largest in the Middle East and the world in terms of equipment and expansions, as well as being provided with the latest equipment from International brands.
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly also inspected the stages of jeans production, which included (cutting, preparation, and assembly), inspecting the laser section that is used to create multiple designs on the pants, and concluded the tour with a visit to the quality testing laboratory for jeans, which subjects the products to about 21 tests before the final stage of preparation.
And before concluding During his visit to the factory, the Prime Minister had a friendly conversation with one of the factory’s production line workers, and inquired about her qualifications, her place of residence, and the ease of transportation to and from the factory. She confirmed that the company provides a very suitable work environment.
